Conservation Commission
Meeting
December 18, 2008


Peg Arguimbau Chairman, Stephen Cremer, and Katherine Roth, were the members present.
Hank Langstroth arrived at 8:05 p.m.

No Quorum at this time
7:30 p.m., N.O.I. Hearing Continuance filed by Gary L. Werden for the proposed
construction of a boat house on the edge of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland at 95 Beach Street,  
DEP File #SE-280-0500:

Due to the absence of the Applicant, Peg called for a motion to continue the hearing until further
notified by the Applicant.
Katherine Roth moved. Stephen Cremer seconded. Voted. Unanimous.

7:40 p.m., Old/New Business:

Peg informed the Commission that Dr. Kaplan, 9 Circle Way, submitted an application to
the Selectmen expressing his interest in serving on the Commission.

The Conservation Administrator explained to the members of the Commission that he discussed
with Attorney Bob Shelmerdine an opportunity for the Commission to renegotiate, with the
Developer of Sharon Commons, a cash payment of $200,000 with a $50,000 value of incline services.
The existing agreement includes a $250,000 value, of which not less than $100,000 shall be in cash.
Peg called for a motion for the Commission to renegotiate with the Developer of Sharon Commons
for a cash payment of $200,000 with an additional $50,000 for materials and services for
conservation purposes.
Stephen Cremer moved. Katherine Roth seconded. Voted. Unanimous.

The Commission reviewed the enforcement issues concerning Mr. Thomas Altieri.
Peg called for a motion for the Commission to ratify the Enforcement Order issued to
Mr. Altieri on December 15, 2008 for DEP File Number SE-280-0469
concerning 130 Norwood Street, Lot 4, & 150 Norwood Street, Lot 3.
Katherine Roth moved. Stephen Cremer seconded. Voted. Unanimous.

7:50 p.m., Signatures:

The members of the Commission in attendance signed bills.

8:05 p.m., The Commission adjourned to the 99 Restaurant in Walpole
to continue their meeting:

Quorum- Hank Langstroth arrived at this time
Peg reviewed with Commission Member Hank Langstroth, the information discussed
earlier in the meeting.
Hank Langstroth voted in favor of all the motions made earlier in the meeting by the
Commission Chairman. He also signed bills.
